Book Chat
Our focus as 4th grade readers is to support our thinking with evidence from the text. The goal of the book chat is to discuss the book, using evidence to support ideas. Parents, please choose three questions to discuss with your child. Encourage them to use evidence in the discussion and to go back into the book to find evidence if they need to. You do not need to record your conversation, just the number of questions you discussed below. The signature verifies that this thoughtful conversation occurred.
